Joining in with firefighters in remembrance of 9/11

BAKER CITY – Firefighters of the Baker City Fire Department want citizens to join in for the observance of the 20thanniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attack. The event will take place at the fire station on 1st Street at 8:45 am and will conclude at 9:00 am on Saturday, September 11th. Firefighters and other public service officials will be on site after the event to tour emergency vehicles and the station.
This remembrance of 9/11 is a chance to help others in tribute to those killed and injured on September 11, 2001, first responders, and the countless others who serve to defend the nation’s freedom at home and around the globe. September 11, 2021, is the 20th Anniversary of that tragic day.
