Jesse Brown, Steer Wrestling Champion at The American Rodeo

BAKER CITY – Baker City’s own Jesse Brown is The American Rodeo Steer Wrestling Champion. Brown took home $100,000 from The American Rodeo this past weekend that was held at the home of Dallas Cowboys in Arlington Texas.
Brown is a former collegiate football player who took on rodeo after transferring to Montana State University. In a 2020 interview Jesse said, “I never high school rodeoed, I got into rodeo pretty late. I needed something else competitive to do and something to work for, kind of a new challenge.”
