JOHN DAY – Hope 4 Paws: Grant County board members Shawn Duncan and Paul Smith were on KJDY’s Coffee Time Thursday. Smith reflected on last year, and said the nonprofit organization needed quite a bit of funding to make it through:

“For 2023, there was such a demand for dollars to assist with the spay and neuter program, transport, food and supplies, emergency and veterinary care…we spent over $28,000 just on spay and neuter programs.”

Hope 4 Paws Grant County will be holding a taco feed benefit on Saturday, March 23rd at the John Day Elks Lodge.
