WALLA WALLA – A College Place man was sentenced Monday in Walla Walla County Superior Court for first-degree criminal trespass, plus hit and run injury, which both occurred on two separate dates in November 2021. Edgar G. Pina Guerrero, 44, pleaded guilty to both charges in April.

For the charge of first-degree criminal trespass, Pina Guerrero was sentenced to 364 days in jail with 184 days suspended and a total of 180 days of confinement via electronic monitoring when available. For the charge of hit and run injury, he was sentenced to six months in jail with partial confinement via electronic monitoring when available. Both sentences are to run concurrently.

Pina Guerrero was also ordered to pay a victim’s assessment, obtain an alcohol/drug evaluation, and undergo alcohol/drug treatment. As for restitution, that is to be determined.

Police arrested Pina Guerrero three days after he was involved in a hit and run on November 26 at Southeast Larch Avenue and Southeast Sixth Street. The victim, Brian Davis, 51, of Walla Walla, was driving and motorized scooter and found injured with life threatening injuries.
