Harney County resident is sentenced 19 months to the Oregon Department of Corrections

Harney County-According to Harney County Circuit Court documents, Douglas Smith Jr, 39, of Burns was sentenced to the custody of Oregon Department of Corrections for a period of 19 months, 24 months of Post-Prison Supervision and fines of $2,000.
Smith was convicted of 1 court of Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants, which is a Class C Felony that was committed on March 9, 2022. Smiths conviction was based upon a Guilty Plea on October 26, 2023.
