Grant County can expect poor air quality/haze this weekend

GRANT COUNTY – The Oregon Department of Environmental Quality issued a press release regarding the smoky air throughout the state. For those of us in Grant County and surrounding areas, we’re seeing (and breathing) smoke mostly from the Bedrock and Lookout fires, as well as from places like northern California and Canada. The agency says Grant County locals can expect poor air quality and hazy conditions through Sunday this weekend, with the worst of it on Saturday evening.
