GHCF grant application window opens Wednesday

HERMISTON — (News release from GHCF) The Greater Hermiston Community Foundation is delighted to announce the opening of its 2024 grant cycle, which will run from May 1 to May 31. Local organizations serving Hermiston, Umatilla, Stanfield, Echo, and Irrigon are encouraged to apply for funding to support projects that will have a lasting and positive impact on the community.

The Foundation is committed to supporting initiatives that promote the well-being and prosperity of the greater Hermiston area. Projects eligible for funding must demonstrate a clear and measurable benefit to the community, with a focus on creating long-term value and sustainability.

Grants ranging up to $10,000 will be awarded to selected organizations whose proposals align with the Foundation’s mission and priorities. Funding can be used to support a wide range of activities, including but not limited to:

  • Community development projects
  • Education and youth programs
  • Health and wellness initiatives
  • Arts and cultural enrichment activities
