Firefighters make quick work of camper fire

BAKER CITY – Fire crews with Baker City Fire and Rescue made quick work of handling a camper fire on Kirkway Drive in Baker City yesterday. The fire was extending to nearby vehicles and structures, but crews were able to quickly extinguish the exposure fires before overhauling the camper according to Baker City Fire and Rescue. No injuries were reported by any residents or fire personnel. Crews were on scene for approximate 60 minutes and were assisted by Baker Rural Fire.
