Farmer discovers human remains while working in field in Prosser

PROSSER – The Benton County Sheriff’s Office has released new details have been released regarding the human remains found last week in Prosser. Last Tuesday, a farmer working in a field on West McCreadie Road near West Wilgus Road found what appeared to be human remains.
BCSO deputies and detectives responded and confirmed the remains the farmer found Tuesday were human. The site was secured and on Wednesday, detectives recovered additional human remains at the site.
Detectives are working with the Benton County Coroner’s Office to identify the remains.
