HARNEY COUNTY-On Saturday April 13, Oregon State Police responded to reports of an erratic, road raging driver coming into Harney County on HWY 20 from Malheur County.

Investigation revealed that the suspect, Alex Scott, 39, of Melba Idaho had driven into the oncoming lane of traffic on a blind corner to yell through the window at another driver. Scott then pursued that driver at speeds of 100 miles an hour or greater for 10-15 miles. Once the driver was able to escape, Scott then made multiple attempts to ram a separate vehicle from behind. Scott also intentionally drove into other vehicles’ path of travel 3 times, forcing the driver to take evasive action or crash.

Oregon State Police made contact with Scott at Oard’s and took him into custody for 2 counts of Reckless Endangering and Reckless Driving. His vehicle was impounded for Operating without Valid Privileges.
