EOU Women’s Basketball Move Up Two Spots Nationally

LA GRANDE – (Release from Eastern Oregon University) Eastern Oregon University Women’s Basketball has moved up in the latest NAIA Women’s Basketball Coaches’ Top 25 Poll. Released Wednesday morning, the Mountaineers jumped from No. 16 to No. 14 in the rankings.

Since the last ranking the Mounties are 5-0, with a huge top 10 win over then ranked No. 9 Lewis-Clark State College. Eastern Oregon currently sits tied for first in the Cascade Collegiate Conference with four games remaining in the regular season.

Eastern will take their fresh No. 14 ranking into a weekend slate of games against Corban and Bushnell. The Mounties will take on Corban at 5:30 p.m. on Friday in La Grande followed by a 3 p.m. tilt against Bushnell at home to round out the weekend.
