ELGIN, OR – (A notice from Superintendent of the Elgin School District)  At this time the decision has been made to transition to Comprehensive Distance Learning for grades 7 – 12 in the Elgin School District. We have had confirmation of positive cases among our student and staff population. And, we are seeing increased absences due to covid like symptoms. Families of students who were directly affected by contact have already been notified.

Students will come home today with the materials necessary to access their classes online in Google Classroom. We will return to in school instruction on the Monday following Spring Break.

Students should expect to log into their online classes at the same time of day they would normally attend, as well as checking their email correspondence from their classroom teacher.
