Drug Take Back Day Event to be held Wednesday, March 2

BAKER COUNTY – The Baker County Sheriff’s Office in partnership with the Baker County Safe Communities Coalition, New Direction Northwest and Elkhorn Media Group will be holding a Drug Take Back Event on Wednesday, March 2nd (11:00-12:30) at Community Connection in Baker City.

According to the Baker County Sheriff’s Office, they started serving lunch at Community Connections on the first Wednesday of each month, which lead to the decisions to combine it with that day.

Drug Take Back events are a safe way for officials to collect expired, unwanted or unused prescription medications so that they can be disposed of properly.
