Deadline to apply for OTEC Scholarships is today!

BAKER COUNTY – Today is the final day to apply for an Oregon Trail Electric Coop (OTEC) academic scholarship. These scholarship opportunities allow students to earn up to $5,000 to Power their Future.

Scholarship opportunities include
•OTEC-EOU Rural Scholarship Program
Four local students who plan on attending Eastern Oregon University have a chance to have their entire tuition and fees paid for at EOU!
•Graduating High School Student Scholarship
Graduating high school seniors have a chance to earn $5,000 to further their education and training beyond high school!
•Returning College Student or Adult Scholarship
If you’re a returning college student or an adult looking to start school, apply for the chance to earn $5,000 to help further your education and training!
•Trade School Scholarship
Interested in learning a trade? OTEC offers $2,500 scholarships for those interested in attending a trade, vocational or technical school.
•Lineman School Scholarship
Interested in a career in the electric utility industry? OTEC offers $5,000 scholarships for those who want to pursue a career as a lineman.
