BAKER CITY – Baker City Police Department Code Enforcement Officer Brian LaFavor executed a court ordered abatement, issued by Baker County Justice Court, at 2239 9th Street last week.  According to BCPD, this abatement involved cleaning up the property of discarded household items and garbage; removal of a camp trailer, dismantling and tear down of makeshift metal shop structure, in excess of twenty feet in height, and hauling away associated debris, scrap and miscellaneous building materials.

Weekend Warrior Junk and Hauling bid this project and was hired to abate the property. Baker Sanitary Service was also contracted to remove several dumpster loads of discarded waste and other household garbage from the property.
