WASHINGTON D.C – Freshly-sworn-in U.S. Representative Cliff Bentz is getting settled into his new office and apartment in Washington D.C. As a new member of Congress, Bentz is awaiting his committee assignments. He joined Logan Bagett recently for a visit on KJDY’s Coffee Time:

“I don’t yet know what committees I’m going to be on. I’m hoping for Natural Resources, of course, so we can address fire and water issues.

Of course, we’re dealing every day with discussions about the pandemic virus and its effect on small business.”

Bentz said he’d hold off on any virtual town halls until he knew which committees he would sit on. He’s been spending time getting his staff and office in place:

“We are still debating exactly where to put the final office in Oregon. We’ll maintain an office in Medford; maintain an office in Bend. We will switch Greg Walden’s office in Hood River over to my office in Ontario, and then we’re looking to place an office somewhere between Ontario and Hood River on the freeway.”
