Baker School District continues to provide free meals to students

BAKER CITY – Many families rely on meals provided to students during the school year.  With summer now in full swing the Baker School District wants citizens to know that those free meals will continue.

According to Jessica Dalton with the Baker School District free meals are available to all children ages 18 and younger Monday thru Friday throughout the summer.

A sack lunch and breakfast, for the next day, are offered from 11:45am to 12:15pm in a drive through model, via the bus lane at Baker High School and E Street.

There is no registration or application necessary.  Adults who are interested are welcome to the meals as well, however adult meals must be purchased.  Cost is $4 for lunch and $2.50 for breakfast.
