Baker City detectives track down felon with outstanding warrant

BAKER CITY — (Release from Baker City Police) On March 21, 2024, at about 7:30 am Baker City Police located an individual, STEVEN LEE DUGAN, that officers had been dealing with over the last few days regarding disturbances between he and his girlfriend resulting in reported violations of a protective order. 

Steven is a corrections offender and on felony probation out of Baker County for the original charges of strangulation and being a felon in possession of a weapon. He had a statewide felon warrant for his arrest for a probation violation.

Baker City Police located Steven near the intersection of Auburn and East Street in Baker City, Oregon. Baker City Police with assistance from the Baker County Sheriff’s Office detained Steven. He was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Baker County Jail and lodged for his outstanding warrant.
