$100,000 worth of illegal drugs seized in Walla Walla

WALLA WALLA – Detectives from the Walla Walla Regional Drug Gang Task Force and Walla Walla Police Department Career Criminal Apprehension Team seized an estimated street value of $100,000 worth of illegal drugs on Friday, Nov. 17.

A Walla Walla man, who has not been identified, was arrested on two counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver in connection with the seizure.

Warrants were executed on the 100 block of Boyer Driver and the 1800 block of Isaacs Avenue. Approximately two pounds of fentanyl powder, 250 fentanyl pills, two pounds of methamphetamine and one pound of cannabis were seized.

The Walla Walla Regional Drug Gang Task Force consists of detectives from the Walla Walla Police Department, the Walla Walla County Sheriff’s Office, the College Place Police Department, and the Washington State Department of Corrections.

The investigation is ongoing. No additional information will be released at this time.
